  1. It’s very shocking. How much damage water can do. You see all the time, but when it comes to your own province, you realize the extent of it. I sympathize with people and would like to help if I can.

  2. This is absolutely terrible, the destruction is beyond belief. What do you do, where do you go? We feel so helpless and so sorry for Calgary residents and there animals etc. We will donate to the Calgary relief fund and wish them all the best in their reconstruction efforts.

  3. My cousin sent me the sad news about your floods. We have had similar problem in America. The entire east coast has been badly damaged with homes lost and flooding. The best thing is volunteers from churches and locally have come forth to help. Our Governor,Chris Christie, has been on top of it too. New Jersey is slowly coming back and we wish the same for all the Canadians!!!

  4. we rented in Calgary from 19th to 24th avenue just off 4th street at various times. Last place on 24th where we swung off that rope attached to the tree which is gone by now I’m sure. What a mess! Must have made a dozen calls to check on friends. Only 1 in Bowness had the flood waters stop a mere block away. F Wish you all the best as you struggle forward!eel so for the folks who have lost it all!
